Lyssand Front Door - the main door for your house

This is probably the first door in Norway to be designed as inward opening. Traditionally, all Scandinavian doors open outwards and all of them sold in Britain are basically an outward opening door which is turned around. At Lyssand, we have developed an inward opening door exclusively for the British market.

The door enjoys a four point locking system and has achieved the best possible tests in Norway. Brass handle and double brass locking cylinders are standard. Hinges are available in brass, brown, white or satin. A wheelchair access threshold is included and outward opening doors are optional. Virtually any size and configuration/styles are available including arched over lights, special sidelights, panic bars, Lyssand applied glazing bars etc. We can also fit a slimline brass letter plate.

• Deep glazing rebates which position the glazing unit as far into the room as possible.
• Reduced risk of condensation with ample space for triple glazing and other glazing options.
• Products have rounded corners that enable better bonding between paint/stain and wood.
• Safety, the glazing units are bonded in the window.

Can be supplied with glazing bars , fully factory finished in paint or stain and with multiple glazing options.
