One of the chief criteria for a window is its ability to restrain wind and rain pressure. Each European country has its own standard requirements for window tightness. The strongest demands are set by the Norwegian Building Regulations.

The three versions of our LSC-windows have been tested in conditions that far surpass any weather conditions that the British Isles has to withstand.

There are several factors that give the LSC-window its tightness:

• Robust, laminate frame and sash.
• All fully reversible window functions operate outwards. When the window is closed it becomes tighter the more pressure you put on it.
• A BBA approved draught seal manufactured from sheeted cellular foam. The draught seal is resistant to paint and stays soft and effective over the years.
• One handle operated espagnolette locking per sash.
